A friendly group of like-minded enthusiasts and beginners who may have some particular interest or simply want to know more about the natural history of the area and enjoy our stunning area. We always welcome newcomers.
The group meets on the third Wednesday of each month and has both outdoor and indoor meetings: outdoors may be local walks to see a particular species or a place and is led by a member or local guide who has expertise in that subject. We also go further afield to the coast or hills. Indoors in the coldest, wettest months we may have a speaker to tell us more about a subject of local wildlife interest.
Members of the group are contacted two weeks before each meeting with details of topic and meeting place. We car share whenever possible and on longer trips we include Comfort and Coffee stops! No particular level of fitness is required. To join in simply send Sue your contact details.
